How common it is for people to travel to different states
How common it is for people to travel to different states or from other countries for nose jobs and what special considerations are there for travel before and after surgery?
This is a great question, since approximately 50% of my patients come from different states or from out of the country. What is nice about this is that our office is setup for this type of travel. My patient care coordinator, Ana, gives the patient necessary information. In addition, our website lists local hotels in Southern California. We want to make sure that the patient has a medical history, and medications are received. Some medications can be received prior to the patient coming to town. We usually tell the patient to get into town approximately two days before surgery. However, in some instances, patients arrive the day before surgery. We like to have the patient stay for two weeks after surgery. We do as much as we can to make the stay as pleasant as possible and run efficiently. Thank you for your question.
