| Karla: This is the first night after the day of my surgery and as you can see I am very, very swollen. But it actually looks worse than what it feels because I don’t have any pain. The swelling hopefully from here on will go down. I’ve been taking all my medication. I put on some Arnica cream to help relieve the swelling and the bruising. And the… I took off the gauze that I had because I don’t have much drainage. I did the cleaning with the hydrogen peroxide and to keep the area moist I put on some ointment. So I’ve been following the instructions. I saw Dr. Nassif today which was really good. He of course said the… the surgery went great. So I was happy to hear that. But other than the swelling and the discomfort, I am feeling great. I’m in good spirits. I am happy that the surgery is done and hopefully from her on everything will be better. |
