| Arlene: Hi. So I am on my… on my second month today after surgery. I’m on my eight weeks. I have to go see Dr. Paul Nassif… Dr. Nassif today. I didn’t put on any makeup. I just got out of the shower and I didn’t put on any makeup just so you could see how it’s coming along. I’m still a little bit swollen, still. Well, actually, I’m a lot swollen still. I don’t know what to say except that I’m… I’m kind of, I guess, bummed out because I’m still so swollen. From up close it doesn’t look that swollen, but from far away when I look in the mirror it looks really swollen or when I take pictures it looks really swollen. Everybody just keeps reassuring me, you know, not to worry, it should go down. My sister just keeps telling me to talk to the doctor to see if it’s normal, you know that it’s still so swollen because I have had other prior nose revisions, this is my third. My second nose revision did not get this swollen so I don’t know why it’s so swollen this time. I’m hoping it does go down. So, yeah, today I go see Dr. Nassif. Hopefully he’ll give me another shot, especially on this side ‘cause it’s like really hard. I don’t know if it’s gonna go down because it’s so hard. This side, it doesn’t feel hard at all, it’s really soft so, I mean, this I can tell… I know that it will go down. But, so I go see the doctor today and hopefully he says that, you know, it’s normal. I’m just a little bit frustrated, I really am. Oh and then yesterday, Lisa called me up… Lisa called me up yesterday, two months after surgery, and said that my surgery went over half an hour so I have to pay an extra $350. So I’m a little bummed out about that because I guess, because I’m not happy with the results yet. So I have to talk to the doctor today to see if I can pay it some other time. But, so let’s see what happens. Wish me luck. I’ll talk to you guys next week, hopefully next week it should be… it should be better results or in a better mood. Okay, sorry. Okay, talk to you guys later. Bye. |
