Erika: Nasal Dorsum Augmentation
We built up the dorsum. Our next step is now to put this graft and cartilage and fascia into the nose. Put this maybe in first, then we will put the cartilage underneath that. Perfect. I like that. I like that a lot. We see if this gives us enough height for the dorsum, if not we may have to add some more. Okay. It is getting better and better. It is starting to look nice. Need a little bit of something right in the middle vault of the nose.
Let's see what kind of cartilage you have. Let me see that other tissue you have too. That is a good amount of tissue. I can really use that.
There are different ways to augment the dorsum. We will either use bruised cartilage, we will take cartilage from the septum, rib, ear. We will either bruise it and cover it with fascia. We are using a little bit of this tissue to cover the cartilage. Sometimes we will dice up the cartilage into small little pieces and we will put fascia underneath it and then inject the cartilage underneath it. That will also augment the dorsum. It is like but a little breather on the nose is really what it is doing. This is all natural tissue.
