Los Angeles Rhinoplasty in Beverly Hills - Revision Rhinoplasty

Photo Gallery

Female patient with n asal obstruction secondary to an over-aggressive rhinoplasty causing internal/external valve collapse, residual deviated septum and hypertrophic turbinates. Patient also complains of the "pinched" nostril look.

Procedure: Revision rhinoplasty with ear cartilage grafting, deep temporalis fascia harvest, revision septoplasty and turbinoplasty.

Findings: Over-resected lower lateral cartilages (intermediate and medial crural probably present encased with scar) with external valve collapse, bilateral turbinate hypertrophy and over-rotated tip.

Grafts place were: Alar batten/rim grafts, columellar strut, spreader graft, infra-lobular tip graft, and deep temporalis fascia over new reconstructed nasal tip.

Comments: In these 5 month postoperative photos, notice how the nose appears less "pinched" and more natural. The patient's airway is improved. The tip's rotation has been lowered secondary to it being over-rotated.
