Hispanic patient desiring softening of her nose and chin augmentation.
Procedure: Open septorhinoplasty with repositioning of the lower lateral cartilages with lateral crural strut grafts, columellar strut, and spreader grafts with turbinoplasty and chin implant.
FINDINGS: Weak alar rims secondary to malpositioned lower lateral cartilage causing collapse, right deviated septum with spur, bilateral narrow middle vault, poor tip projection.
Comment: her 9 month postop photos reveal a healing, smaller but stronger nose. |
