FAQ
Revision Rhinoplasty FAQs
Q - Is it true that it takes a full year before the final results from revision rhinoplasty are achieved?
A - Positive results after your revision rhinoplasty procedure will be noticeable well before a year's time. However, the final results can be camouflaged by swelling which can persist in small amounts for as long as a year after surgery. The swelling will begin to fade within about a week after surgery, and it will take another one to two weeks for about 80% of the swelling to fade. You can expect 90% of the swelling to have faded within three months after the procedure, and the remaining 10%, which is typically not noticeable to the patient or other observers, can take as long as a year after the procedure to fully fade.
