New Rhinoplasty Patient Information
Trusted by Patients Worldwide™
Choosing a primary surgeon is one of the biggest decisions to make concerning rhinoplasty. A qualified and experienced surgeon will be able to provide the best care and lower the potential for revision procedures. Dr. Nassif and Dr. Yoo have a much lower revision rate than the national average of ~17%. Experience, education, board certifications, references, and participation in continuing education are important qualities to consider. Another important key is choosing a surgeon you are comfortable with. Having good communication between the patient and doctor will lead to greater satisfaction with results. Never select a surgeon that you do not feel totally comfortable with.
Keep in mind that revision rhinoplasty is sometimes necessary. Revision rhinoplasty is more complex than primary rhinoplasty and requires an expert’s attention. Not all surgeons specialize in revision rhinoplasty. Who you select as a revision rhinoplasty surgeon is as equally important as who you select to perform your primary surgery. It may be the same surgeon who performed the initial procedure or someone new.
